well, its along the lines of SPACE AND STRUCTURE

I have chosen the above picture to try something more oriental, something different from what we are learning these days...

Structure:

The branches point upwards, directing the viewer diagonally across the image.
The curve from the branches are harmonious.

Space:

The flowers take up every branch and yet it does not dominate the branches.
Petals are seen throughout the painting, to make it complete and occupy good space.















STRUCTURE:
•The structure of the rose is extremely detailed. Despite being large in scale.

SPACE:
•The space around is of the same color as the rose and yet it manages to make the rose stand out and not fade into the background.





















•Manipulating space and structure of an artwork gives a different perspective of the artwork, something unique.

•In an attempt to make the subject(apple for example) stand out from the background.
